The weekend of 19-20 December 2015 the Kehat Beukes Memorial Rapid Chess Tournament took place in Swakopmund.

A couple of TWCA students went to participate and two primary schools students were the stars for TWCA. Dante Beukes took three prizes overall.
1: Best Cadet,
2: 2nd Best Junior and
3: 4th overall. This was another phenomenal performance by this young lad. The previous year he came 12th overall. So we can see a marked improvement in his game.

Keisha Van Wyk took the overall best prize as best girl at the event. She too had improve a lot this year. She is a star shining bright for chess.

We hope to teach them more next year. 2016 looks like an interesting year to move to the next level.
