| The Deadly Trio - Dudley, Patience & Oyo |
2018 seems to be the year we are going to make new waves.
In fact our players went to South Africa and played in The South Africa Wild
Card Junior Chess Championships and scoop a 1st prize, and Dudley Noreseb had a
perfect score of 7/7 and took gold. Patience and Ottilie also fought hard and
both took Bronze in their categories. These are small victories in RSA, but big
victories for our Academy. It's just once again evidence that we have the skill
set to deliver. We are tired to play and come back empty handed when we go
across the border. Africa should know Namibia means business. We do not intend to win only we
want to surpass them. Why not?
To crown this performance we had a record intake of 25 new
students at TWCA alone this year. There is more good news coming. We are
looking forward to the Schools Zonals which will take place this coming weekend
17 February 2018. We wish all our students great success.
