CM Dante Beukes Excels at the 2015 World Youth and Cadet Chess Championships in Halkidiki, Greece!

Barely a month after his sterling performance at the African Individual School Chess Championships in Gabarone, Botswana Dante Beukes excels again. He is no stranger to the Namibian chess scene. Yes, the youngest Chess Master of Namibia had to go and test his mettle against the best of the world in his age group in Greece.

CM Dante - Having a light moment

He scored results in 7 of his 11 rounds which tally to 5/11. The best performer from the group of 8 young players to represent Namibia. With this result Dante showed that he can fight against the rest of the world and deliver results. Dante is definitely on the rise and is definitely a chess player to watch in the near future. He is on a mission and probably only 3-5 years away from a Grandmaster title. Its just a matter of time and exposure.

We are looking forward to your progress Dante and we know you will make us very proud very soon.
All the best with your future chess development.
