Dudley Noreseb and Ottilie Hinda won the 1st TWCA Classical Chess Tournament

Dudley has been on the rise ever since he started at TWCA three years ago. He loves the French Defense and has made it his business to know all the nuances of this venerable opening. Dudley scored perfect with 5/5 to clinch his first event at TWCA. This is not his first achievement. He scored perfect 7/7 earlier this year on Board 4 for TWCA at the School Teams Chess Championships. He is indeed a dedicated hardworking student of the game. Couple this with his smarts and you have a champion.
2nd Place Keisha, Dudley Champion and 3rd Place Uatjiri

In second place we have Keisha Van Wyk with 4/5 taking home the silver medal and prize money. Keisha is actually a primary school learner but performed exceptional to clinch the second spot. In third came another Primary school learner, Uatjiri Hewicke with 3/5 grabbing the bronze medal.

3rd Place Lilian, Ottilie PS Champion and 2nd Place Daniel
In the primary section we had WCM Ottilie Hinda, who needs no introduction with 3/5. She scooped the Trophy and gold medal in the Primary School section. In second spot came Daniel Mouton with 2/5 taking home the silver medal. In 3rd place we got Lilian Jansen with also 2/5 games. The Primary school learners had to tough it out with the High School participants which made every point scored an achievement on its own.

Well done to the Brother and Sister duo, Dudley and Oyo. We are super proud of your performance and progress.

Chess for fun, chess to win!
