Julian Isaak is the 2009 Champion of TWCA

Congratulations to Julian Isaak, He won the 2009 TWCA Club Championship with a score of 6/7. He only lost against Christo Retief. In 2nd place was Xenophone Julius with 5/7 followed by Jack Tjaronda also with 5/7 in 3rd place. According to the progressive score tiebreak Xenophone was ahead with points and got the 2nd place.

After the Championships all students who passed their final exams in all three levels were awarded with certificates.

To conclude the year the students and coaches went on to swim at the Katutura Swimming pool. Jack Tjaronda had this to say" This is the best day of my life" At TWCA we strive very hard for our students to have fun. However the fun comes after hard work at the chessboard.

The more you practise and study chess the more victories you will have which will be converted to emosional currency hapiness and fun.

TWCA hope to grow exponential in 2010 and teach children chess to win at their next chess tournament.
